Life through music reflections

2.5 months and I havent wrote much. Streak is over. Ive gone on photo adventures and watched movies with a pretty swell person who's pretty cool..maybe someday......someday.

Ive been more 'lyrically' attuned to songs the past few days, instead of just the instruments (too much power-guitar?).

Watched the Devil's Rejects on said movie day. A decent (but fuckkkeed up) piece of film by Rob Zombie. The finale (THIS IS A SPOILER DONT READ THIS SENTENCE IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE) ends in a blaze of glory set to Skynyrd's "Freebird" which is WONDERFULLY juxtaposed on screen with the hail of bullets as the villains (anti-hero? No way) find themselves free from running through death.

Here is the ending: decide for yourself:

I'll be thinking of that person that showed me this movie now whenever I hear this song haha.
A few more songs that are reflective of my life, it is extremely weird when you hear songs you haven't heard in forever and they describe your life PERFECTLY. All of these just happen to be by the band FOZZY. Listen/read the lyrics and it'll paint a better picture for you than I can.

Fozzy: Watch me shine (about forgiveness and second chances.)

Fozzy: Grail ("Until you find the grail you've been looking for you'll always be alone" = I found this really powerful)

Fozzy: Broken Soul (Life in general for me when it comes to relationships)

That's all for now....thanks for reading. Give me your thoughts on what ive said here.
